The clippings document Thomas’ involvement in Baltimore politics, his banking career, and his interest in American history and genealogy, as well as obituaries for his family, friends, and colleagues. Documents related to the sale of enslaved woman Martha Ann “Patty” Atavis and the Whitridge family, such as copies of John Whitridge’s will, are also included in the collection.
